Videos
The eight stories are in two volumes. Each volume contains four stories.
Read by the well-known Scottish actress, Maureen Beattie, the stories are illustrated by John Horton's atmospheric paintings interwoven with shots of the north-west highlands of Scotland in all their scenic beauty. The haunting Scottish music is played by Christine Martin on the traditional clarsach.
The two omnibus versions are available for purchase on VHS in both PAL and NTSC standards. The running time of each VHS is approximately 60 minutes.

Television series
Produced by Avril Rowlands in
association with Jerusalem Productions, the television series was transmitted by
in Ireland by RTE. An Arabic and Farsi version is due to be transmitted by
the satellite channel, SAT-7.
The series was made to full broadcast specification and is available for distribution in other countries.
