Ten years ago, Juliette Goy began telling three of the McDorwuff stories to children in her school as part of their Christmas preparations. The children enjoyed them very much and Juliette felt that the underlying message of the tales could well be used in a wider context. She began getting them translated into different languages and photocopies were taken by friends travelling overseas to give as presents. These small seeds of peace taking the message of living together in harmony under God began, in a small way, to reach out to children in a number of countries. especially to those living in areas of wars and conflicts. Three of the stories have now been translated into seventeen languages and are slowly spreading to many different countries, but often Juliette only hears about people's journeys after their return and the opportunity of giving them as presents is lost. In order to avoid this and co-ordinate this work, she and her friends are creating an Association of the Seeds of Peace in May 2004. If you are interesting in participating in this, either by translating more of the stories or by spreading them overseas, the contact details are given below. Unpublished translations have already been made of Robbie and the Polar Bear and these are

As this work is done by unpaid volunteers, a small charge for postage will have to be made for these translations
